Conference Registration

Registration is required to participate in all sessions, special events, and tours at the National Leadership Conference.  Name badges and wristbands/tickets will be checked.  Online registration opens March 1, 2012 and closes June 15, 2012.

 

Housing

It is important that all conference delegates use the official conference hotel.  The Board of Directors has implemented the following policy:

1.       Delegates who live more than 30 miles from the convention site and do not stay in one of the official convention hotels will be assessed a conference room fee of $25 per registration in order to register for the conference.

2.       Delegates from state associations attending the national conference and not staying at one of the official convention hotels may not participate in National STAR Events or be eligible to be elected for a national office. 

The 2012 National Leadership Conference official convention hotels are the Rosen Shingle Creek, Rosen Centre Hotel and Rosen Plaza Hotel. The Rosen Shingle Creek will serve as the headquarters hotel for the conference; the Rosen Centre and Rosen Plaza will serve as overflow housing and provide additional meeting space.  All registered conference attendees are eligible to take advantage of the FCCLA negotiated hotel room rate. 

Travel Discounts

FCCLA has parented with Delta Airlines to offer discounted airfare for attendees traveling to the 2012 National Leadership Conference. Participants wishing to take advantage of the discounted ticket price can book flights online at www.delta.com. Flights can also be booked by calling the Delta Meetings Network at 1-800 328- 1111. Attendees must use the following code when purchasing tickets NM8VY. Fares are good July 2-16 2012.  

Mears Transportation is offering attendees a $4 discount on a round trip shuttle service to/from the airport. To access this discount, print the coupon and bring it with you to the Mears Transportation kiosk at the Orlando International Airport.
